I haven't written in four months, but for good reason: I'm really busy! Okay, I know we are all really busy, so maybe that is not a great excuse. I can tell you that life for the past month and a half has been great! We made the decision to move to a new daycare. So far the kids LOVE the daycare. Kari (the new provider) is great with kids. They both get a solid nap, Brianna comes home every day with new vocabulary words, and has lots of other kids her age to play with. They play outside almost every day, and Kari even has a music teacher come in on Tuesdays and play with instruments with the kids.
Since Ben turned 8 months old, he has been happy pretty much every day. He is teething again, so that comes with some fussiness, but not much. He still isn't sleeping well, and we have actually been referred to a Sleep Specialist since our primary pediatricians are stumped. Personally, I feel like since I have been fighting with him every night for four months to sleep, that I just want to give up for awhile and give him what he wants, to eat once or twice. I know he is old to be doing this, but I am so tired of the fight! We'll see..
I am crazy excited for it to get warm outside. The kids are starting to play with each other a little bit now, and I can't wait to take them to the zoo, and go for a walk at night after dinner, and to just get out in the fresh air a lot!
As we thought would happen, our house feels like it's squeezing us out. Although it has been an amazing starter home, the two tiny bedrooms, one bathroom, anti-living room, and unfinished basement are becoming very difficult for our four person-2 dog family. It's time to expand, at least a little bit. I've contacted a Realtor to begin discussions on what our home is worth, and to see what repairs we need to make.
