32+2

32 weeks and counting! Work has kept me very busy so I haven't much time to think about how close to the end we are. This weekend Matt and I got a ton of stuff done. We discovered that the car seats we had were expired, so we had to pick up a replacement. We also washed and sorted all of Baby's clothes, put up the crib, unpacked the infant toys, and finished packing the hospital bags. It was so productive! The best part is that he could literally come today and we would be ready for him. I am starting to get so excited!!

Re-created Kids' Room

This weekend Cassie and Peter came over and Cassie helped me re-paint the kids' room. It is still the same seafoam green as it was before, but now we have a pink shelf above Bri's bed, a yellow shelf above Baby boy's bed, and both of their names in wooden letters above their respective shelf (thanks to my handy hubby). We also hung up "sports" pillows above where Baby's crib will go and the decal "I Love You Forever, I Like You For Always" above Bri's wall. The changing table/dresser will go between the beds and the Little Tikes activity table is at the end of Bri's bed.

*Whine*

As a preface to my whiney post below ;) - I found this today, my blog post from 30 weeks when I was preggo with Brianna. As I kept reading, I noticed that almost everything was the same (except the weight gain instead of weight loss) http://chenobaby.blogspot.com/2010/07/30-week-update.html. I like the perspective this offered! I came out of it just fine and will again. :)

If I didn't already know that I was in the third trimester by looking at a calendar, my body would be telling me anyway. I am sooo uncomfortable. My hips kill and the baby is up in my ribs constantly so I can't slouch or I can't breathe. It's hard not to slouch when your exhausted constantly!

I've definitely passed the "fun" part of this pregnancy.  Okay, done whining. 2 months left and I DO hope he stays in the whole time.

I am thankful that I haven't had any complications, and that baby is growing awesomely. I am thankful that I can work and don't have to be on bedrest. I am thankful for this baby :)

Sick

We went months and months without being sick, then Brianna gets Roseola, and now all three of us have colds. BLAH. Matt is the only one who can take Dayquil, lucky man. I just want to crawl back into bed and sleep the rest of the day.

Fortunately my 30 week OB appointment is tonight, so hopefully the doctor can give me some suggestions about what to do to feel better. I have a feeling she will tell me to suck it up and there isn't anything I can take or do.

Thanks for letting me vent!
