The biggest difficulty came with having to drag Bri in and out of the car seat at every sale, since they were so spread apart. Load her in and out of the stroller and repeat. Poor girl got sick of it really fast. We ended up skipping a lot of sales that didn't meet my criteria of: Newish looking childrens toys and tables full of pink clothing. So I know I missed quite a bit, but we still ended up going to about 30-35 sales.

I brought $59 with me and ended up spending a total of $14.50 on four items. I also got a little sun, which was a perk. I got an adorable miniature "La-Z-Boy recliner for our living room, which retails and several hundred dollars so $10 was a steal! I also got the baby blanket resting on the arm in the picture for $1 and this adorable faux Coach purse for $3, which I actually thought was real for a couple hours until I went home and read about how to "spot a fake". In any case, it's a very realistic replica. All in all I feel it was a very successful day.
Jayden loved his recliner chair, I wish I would have kept it, but it broke :( now...you said you spent 14.50 where did the other 50 cents go? lol jk :P Champlin had their citywide a couple of weeks ago and it sucked, i didn't find anything except this semi truck cozy coupe that was WAY over priced...dude wanted 50 bucks for it, and it was all beat to hell, missing stickers and some stickers fell off...some people these days lol
ReplyDeleteLOL, nice catch! The item I bought for 50 cents was a large absorbant lap pad, which I was actually really excited about, but didn't figure anyone would want to read about. I took a picture of that too if you want to see it! (haha)

I went to Good Will the other day just killing time while Logan was at a birthday party down the road... and happened to find the exact swim trunks that Logan wanted for this year. Retail: $17.50, and I paid less than $2 :) Love good deals! Next time you go you should let me tag along ;)
