Three weeks of failed sleep training and I'm going back to the books. Dr. Google says that 4 month olds should be waking up between 1-3 times a night, so now I feel like I've been starving him! Poor little guy! As of tonight I am officially moving Ben back in our room (he was previously banished to the living room due to his high pitched girlie scream) His doctor still thinks he shouldn't be waking up that much, but I am going to go with my gut, and the fact that he still wakes up five times a night screaming for 15-25 minutes as a clue that he still needs to wake up to eat. For now... I will accept that I will be continually exhausted for the next two months. Wednesday, October 24, 2012
Sleep Training Fail

i agree, go with your gut. sometimes doctors, even if they are great, put kids into a 'box'. God gave mom's a gut for good reason.
