16 Weeks Old

Brianna was 16 weeks old on Wednesday. The countdown to 4 months is officially underway with 8 days left. No major milestones except that she is finally back to sleeping five hours or more in a row woo hoo!!

Overall Bri has been very active. When laying on her tummy she will turn 90 degrees with her hands. She is still not rolling over much, but she'll get there! Her current favorite toy is her jumparoo where she can stand and play with (eat) the little plastic toys attached to it. If you have seen her recently, you have probably also noticed how grabby she has gotten, which is great for her but bad for your hair/shirt/earrings/necklaces.

16 week update

I woke up very excited this morning because my belly has started to round out! You still can't tell I'm prego unless you already knew it, but the weird shape it had before was not attractive.

I am 16 weeks, 1 day today. Haven't felt any movement yet, but its possible that I won't until 20 weeks. I have still had a few bouts of morning sickness, and I still get nauseas when I drive, but other than that I have been feeling fantastic!

Babycenter.com, as recommended by my lovely sister-in-law, Amy- has been a helpful resource. According to them, baby can now hear me speak and will soon be able to recognize my voice apart from anything else he/she hears. If Matt talks to him/her, I am sure the same will happen with him.

I know I say this in every post, but I can't wait to find out what he/she is! I am sick of writing he/she! Ha. I want to get started on the nursery so bad. Our current favorite idea is seafoam/clover green walls with yellow accents. Duckies if its a girl and turtles if its a boy. Guess we will have to wait another two weeks to decide. Eep!
