39 Week Update

Yup! Writing this update at 3:30am because I can't sleep. 39 weeks today- still no baby, so QUIT CALLING ME! Lol.. just kidding (kind of).

I wont get into the nitty gritty details anymore, but doc says I'm still progressing. Still no concrete signs of her showing up till her actual due date next week. Although I am not really sure what that means anyway. From the sound of it, no "sign" is really for sure. Wasn't able to walk the last couple of days due to rain, but I am bouncing on my exercise ball a lot and doing a lot of praying.

Not much else exciting is going on around our house. Matt has been really busy with school and house projects and work. I have been really busy with... nothing... but staying close to home "just in case". We are purposfully not making any big plans either, so we dont have to break them. I made a list of things I cannot wait to do when I am not preggers anymore.

Things I am looking forward to:
1. Drink a large cup of very caffeinated coffee from Caribou
2. Bend over to fill up the dog's water dish without panting
3. Run! Walk for long periods of time! Stand! Not need naps like a 2 year old everyday.
4. Sleep through a whole night without any pee breaks (yeah yeah yeah, I know this one will have to wait till she's older... shh!)
5. Talk about anything other than how I am feeling or if the baby is here yet (LOL)
6. Enjoy a Perfect Margarita at Applebees
7. Watch daytime televison without crying, talk about my family without crying.. dramatically reducing the level of emotions in general.
8. Having a purpose other than "baby maker"
9. Eat sushi
10. Last but not least...starting my life with my new little family!!

Things I will Miss...
1. Feeling her kick
2. Feeling like I look "pretty good" in pretty much anything, because all anyone notices is the baby belly and not the extra wobbly bits
3. Hearing her heartbeat/seeing her move on ultrasounds
4. How EASY it is to take care of a baby in utero
5. The ability to eat almost anything and not gain weight
6. Not being judged for sleeping to much/eating/saying anything! (pregnancy induces word puke :-/)
7. All the amazing backrubs and attention from my hubby

Thats all for now folks! Will update you in another few days or so.

Lovies!
