20 Week Scan (at 20w 5d)

We went to our 20 week ultrasound and OB appointment today. Baby has been confirmed a girl (again). She cooperated perfectly so they were able to get lots of great measurements and a few good pictures. The doctor said that from everything she could see, she is perfect.

The clinic will look at the eighty-some pictures more in detail later and get back to us if anything looks funky. Doc also mentioned that she is measuring in the 78th percentile, which apparently means she is a little on the big side, but still perfectly normal.

Lots of fetal movement today. Baby really liked the California salad I had for lunch at Champps, (our celebratory anniversary lunch) and listening to Avatar in all its booming glory. As soon as I had a Starburst she calmed down... I think that's a sign that maybe I am consuming too much sugar and she is immune to it? Oops..

Not too much else to report at the moment, next appt. is at 24 weeks, fairly routine. Next big milestone is Matt being able to feel movement from the outside, maybe in a few weeks? I will write again for one of these.
