Once again this post is a few days late, but what can ya do? This week came with an interesting twist. The last couple of days Brianna has been very fussy. She is chewing her fists, and drooling. Her cheeks are rashy and she is not sleeping well. She has also had a low-grade fever on and off. My research tells me that she is teething. As you probably know, she is very young for this, and she will likely have symptoms that come and go until she actually cuts her first tooth in a couple of months. In the meantime, we will do everything we can to make her comfortable.
Fortunately, even though she does not yet have control of her own hands, she will accept me holding a teething ring in her mouth, which she will chew. The ones we have are pretty small, and they are still too big for her mouth, which frustrates her. I am hoping to find one that isn't a ring, but a stick of some kind.
Bri's two-month shots are on Monday. Last Wednesday, when her appointment was originally scheduled was one of the days she had a low-grade fever and they didnt want to make it worse with shots. Hopefully everything will go smoothly on Monday.
