I heard from the potential employer today. They said that they really liked me and feel I would be a really good fit for the company, but with graduating in a month- I am essentially overqualified for the position I applied for. I am grateful that they took the time to call and tell me this instead of sending me a rejection letter, per their standard. The HR rep even told me to keep his number and to contact him directly if I saw any positions open up in the future that I would be interested in, or just wanted to check on open positions.
I am definitely disappointed. I am also past the point where I can hide my baby bump for other potential employers, but I will continue to apply for jobs and pray about it. I know that God will take care of us and the baby and provide for us when we need him.
