Still sick sick sick.
Had a bunch more energy today though, which is great! I actually got some homework done, and am making dinner for Matt, who seems like he needs a pick-me-up.
My sister in law (Amy) is taking me out to lunch on Saturday, and maternity clothes shopping. She insists that I need to plan ahead for summer, as that is when I will be huge.
Funny text convo between my brother and I.
Me: I have been puking my guts out, never get Prego!
Brother: Oh no! We buy that all the time with our spaghetti!
Me: Not exactly what I meant...
LOL. The funny thing is, he really had no idea what I was talking about.
In other news, I have been consistently losing weight since i can't eat anything. Not a ton, but its steady. However my tummy is definitely growing, and I dont fit into any of my pants. How is this possible at only 8 weeks? It's too early to show right? It must be just bloating.

Ginger Ale!
Just searching online. There are some weeird names out there! I hate being pregnant this week. I hate being sick from when I wake up to when I fall asleep. I know a lot of people will read this and be upset because I should "just be happy I'm still pregnant". Whatever.. this week I say screw that.
However, I finally found something that seems to curb the nausea a bit... ginger ale! I know its the oldest trick in the book, but I didnt try it because nothing else working. I mean.. soda crackers worked, but only if I ate them chain-style, one after the other the entire day. YUCK.
We went to Olive Garden for lunch today, for Amy's birthday. and I got a Fonduta.. which for anyone who doesnt know is a giant bowl of oily cheese and bread to dip it in. It was SOOO good, and since I was sick already, it couldnt do much worse. I'm glad I did it.. so there.
Sitting at home doing some homework at the moment. I really should do more of that. Especially since I am home all day during the week. Maybe now that I have found my lovely ginger ale I can!!
Love,
Catherine

And so it begins...
Last night I told Matt that he smelled, he said he didnt smell anything. I told him a few days ago that I had developed the "supersensitive smell" which I have, or either I am just noticing the smell of everything now because I am aware of it? I first noticed it when I walked into the grocery store and I could smell the things on either side of me, it was amazing. Yesterday I pumped gas and it made me sick to my stomach.
Symptoms at 4 weeks 2 days
1. Smell- although now I am doubting myself on this one. Maybe I am imagining it?
2. Weepiness... makes me feel like a clod
3. Slight nausea (no severe) off and on during the day, especially when I lay flat (again maybe I am imagining it?)
4. A few others that are not appropriate for the interweb!
